Pa. man dead, wife injured in domestic shooting

POTTSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - February 8, 2009 Pottsville police say it happened Sunday morning. The wife phoned police and when officers arrived, the husband was dead and the wife had multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the husband and wife were the only people involved. Their children weren't home at the time.

The woman was airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital and police say she was listed in critical condition.

Pottsville is about 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
