Hazmat responds to Temple oil spill

UPPER DUBLIN, Pa. - February 8, 2009 Officials think that a dilapidated house on the grounds had a tank of oil inside of it and it ruptured. The oil made its way into the creek that runs through the campus into an apartment complex.

The Montgomery County Hazmat team determined where the oil was coming from, they contained it, and now it is the responsibility of Temple to bring in a private clean up crew.

No word on how many gallons were spilled into the creek.
