Frozen man found by jogging officer

ERIE, Pa. (AP) - February 10, 2009 Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook says it appears 25-year-old Aaron Nolan, of Millcreek Township, died of hypothermia or related causes. More tests are necessary to confirm that.

Township police say Nolan had a history of drug and alcohol problems and was living with his grandmother in an apartment complex near the field.

Cpl. Chris Hauber, the township detective investigating Nolan's disappearance, found the body about 130 feet from the apartments Sunday afternoon. The body had been covered in calf-deep snow that had begun to melt when temperatures rose over the weekend.
