Ardmore Emergency Management director Amber Wilson said Tuesday night she didn't know how severe the injuries were. But she said the property damage in Ardmore was "extensive."
Wilson says officials in other parts of Carter County were trying to get ambulances and other first responders into the town.
Another tornado tore through the Oklahoma City metropolitan area in the afternoon. It caused power outages and damaged buildings, cars and property.
