A fast moving house fire in South Jersey has claimed a life.

The fire broke out just before midnight on Wednesday inside a home on the 10,000 block of South Fork Landing Road, in Cinnaminson, Burlington County.

When firefighters arrived they were told that a number of people were trapped inside.

Firefighters battled through flames to pull those people out of the house.

One of those persons, a 44-year-old man, has died.

Officials have not released the age or sex of the victim.

And they have not said if any other people in the house were injured.

A house pet also died in the fire.

The fire destroyed the home.

The fire marshall is looking for the cause, and the Burlington County Prosecutor's office is also investigating. They have said it does not look to be suspicious.
