A multi-alarm apartment building fire has displaced dozens of people in Bucks County. The fire broke out shortly before 2:30 this morning in the D building at the Regency Apartments, located on the 2000 block of Brown Avenue in Bensalem. The fire quickly went to two alarms as firefighters tried to contain the flames.

Residents say they did hear fire alarms and most were able to get out of the building on their own. But C.J. Lebesco, who has asthma, couldn't make it through the smoky hallway. He was rescued by firefighters.

In all about 50 people were displaced. The Red Cross will be providing shelter for about 25 of them.

Two people sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Frankford Hospital Lower Bucks for treatment.
