Police officer involved in crash

WEST KENSINGTON - February 13, 2009 - The officer was responding to a radio call shortly after 9:00am when he was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of American and York Streets.

The officer was transported to Northeastern with minor injuries and is expected to be released later today.

According to Phila Police PR, this appears to be accidental and no charges will be filed at this time.
