Local soldier killed in Afghanistan

February 14, 2009 He is 29-year-old Army Staff Sergeant Marc Small was from Collegeville, Montgomery County.

He was killed Thursday while fighting insurgents in Central Afghanistan.

Small was a member of the first Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group.
