TV exec accused of beheading wife

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - February 17, 2009 Authorities found the woman's body at the Bridges TV station near Buffalo, New York Thursday.

Her husband, /*Muzzammil Hassan*/, founded Bridges TV, which he hoped would portray Muslims in a better light.

He is now charged with second degree murder. Police say they had responded to several domestic violence calls at the couple's home in Orchard Park.

They say /*Aasiya Hassan*/ had filed for divorce and received an order of protection against her husband.

Police Chief Andrew Benz, "Simply because you get an order of protection, I don't think you can put your guard down and say, 'I'm safe now.' I think an order of protection is a tool but you still have to be careful and you have to protect yourself and if there are situations that are of concern to you, you have to call the police."
