3-alarm fire in Allentown displaces dozens

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - February 21, 2009 Fire fighters responded to the scene on 200 block of North 5th Saturday morning.

More than three dozen people have been displaced by the three-alarm fire that swept through an apartment complex yesterday in Allentown.

It was reported that three buildings have been destroyed by the fire. Five firefighters and two other residents were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for minor and fortunately, there were no serious injuries at the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
