A seventh-grade teacher at a middle school in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley is accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy. Gregory Gene Ritter is suspended from his job at East Hills Middle School in the Bethlehem Area School District.

The 44-year-old man was arrested Thursday at his home in Greentown in Pike County and held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Police say Ritter was working as a first aid supervisor at a Boy Scout camp in Kunkletown when he met the boy.

It was unclear Thursday if Ritter had a lawyer. He faces a preliminary hearing Tuesday before District Judge Jay Rose.
