Speeding car slams into accident scene

Philadelphia Police were forced to close down the Roosevelt Boulevard overnight near 9th Street after 2 crashes sent at least 5 people to the hospital. The first crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the southbound inner lanes of the Boulevard near 9th Street.

Then around midnight, as police were investigating the crash, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into the accident scene.

Police closed down the Roosevelt Boulevard while tow trucks worked to remove the wreckage.

5 people were sent to various hospitals, but luckily none of the injuries were life-threatening.
