4 injured in violent Worchester crash

WORCESTER, Pa. - February 22, 2009 The 3-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:00 at the intersection North Wales Road and Skippack Pike in Worcester.

The accident occurred when one car was rear ended at the intersection - sending the car flying across the highway where it was struck head on by an oncoming car.

Two people were reported trapped inside their vehicles and were later flown to an area hospital for face and chest injuries.

Ground crews transported a 19-year-old female with chest pains in stable condition and the driver, a 49-year-old female, to Temple University Hospital in unknown condition.

Police have not released the identities of the accident victims.
