4 injured in violent Worchester crash

Police and fire crews were on the scene of a nasty accident in Montgomery County that has left 4 people injured this afternoon. The 3-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:00 at the intersection North Wales Road and Skippack Pike in Worcester.

The accident occurred when one car was rear ended at the intersection - sending the car flying across the highway where it was struck head on by an oncoming car.

Two people were reported trapped inside their vehicles and were later flown to an area hospital for face and chest injuries.

Ground crews transported a 19-year-old female with chest pains in stable condition and the driver, a 49-year-old female, to Temple University Hospital in unknown condition.

Police have not released the identities of the accident victims.
