Flyers carnival raises over $21M

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - February 22, 2009 On Sunday, at the Wachovia Center, 7,000 fans of all ages were there to meet, greet, and beat their favorite players at the 32nd annual Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival.

From video games to the dunk tank to shot on goal, there was plenty for fans to do.

The popular Wii boxing game was among the new activities at this year's event.

It was not just all fun and games as the carnival raised over $21-million.

The proceeds from one of the premiere charity events in the National Hockey League benefit various Delaware Valley Charities.

Year after year, this is a game the Flyers never lose.
