Officials say a man arrested on a criminal mischief charge is accused of causing a flood that brought firefighters on an early morning call to an eastern Pennsylvania police station. Easton police say the man climbed to the ceiling of his holding cell early Sunday and broke an emergency sprinkler, set off a fire alarm and flooded the booking room and hallway with 3 to 4 inches of water. Easton firefighters shut off the alarm and helped clean up.

Police say 24-year-old Robert Robertson III of Coatesville was first arrested for allegedly breaking a glass door at a store. Now he's been arraigned on charges of criminal mischief, public drunkenness, causing a catastrophe, institutional vandalism and tampering with fire apparatus and sent to prison on $15,000 bail. It's not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
