Really shouldn't have inmates do this

GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP) - February 24, 2009

Thirty-nine-year-old Scott Rogers, of Mount Pleasant, says he pleaded guilty Monday to three counts of official oppression "to get it over with."

Rogers was charged in September 2007, two months after he was fired from the Westmoreland County Prison in Greensburg, about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh. County officials rescinded the firing and allowed Rogers to resign to protect themselves from a lawsuit should he be acquitted.

The inmates Rogers abused were in a unit housing sex offenders and those with mental health problems.
