After 12 minutes of chowtime, Dave "U.S. Mail" Goldstein was crowned the winner, eating a meal of 4.99 pounds of crawfish.
The feat won him $1,500.
Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas came in second.
Crawfish, a signature food of Louisiana, were chosen to celebrate Fat Tuesday, and honor the huge Mardi Gras celebration happening in New Orleans.
