A former New Jersey pageant queen is accused of trying to pass counterfeit money.

Twenty-one-year old Ashley Fuhrmeister was crowned Miss North Wildwood in 2007.

Federal agents arrested her along with her mother, 44-year old Kelly Nowacky and John Laughlin. The three are accused of trying to pass counterfeit $50 bills at a convenience store.

They are charged with forgery and possession of forgery devices.
