Accused cop killer Rasheed Scrugs has gone from a hospital bed to a jail cell. Chopper 6 was over Albert Einstein Medical Center in North Philadelphia this morning when the 33-year-old Scrugs was wheeled into a waiting prison van.

Scrugs was wounded in the shootout that killed Officer John Pawlowski back on Friday, February 13th at Broad and Olney.

This morning, when Scrugs left the hospital, he was secured with Officer Pawlowski's handcuffs - as is tradition.

Officer Pawlowski's patrol cruiser was also parked outside nearby.

Rasheed Scrugs has already been formally charged with first degree murder and related offenses. He was taken to jail for processing.
