Consumer Reports is out with its list of top economical cars and it's bad news for the big three U-S automakers.
Not a single U-S brand was on the list of 41 best value vehicles.
The rankings were based on operating costs...such as gas, maintenance and insurance...along with performance on road tests.
The Toyota Prius Toruing topped the list -- followed by the Mini Cooper, Volkswagen Rabbit, Honda Civic EX and the Honda Fit.
