Crews quickly got to work putting all hands in service and calling in additional companies for manpower. The flames were finally put under control around 11:00.
Three residents were on their way to church when they noticed heavy smoke in the area. When they returned home, they discovered it was their house that caught fire.
No injuries have been reported.
