Bodies found in apparent murder-suicide

WILMETTE, Ill. (AP) - March 2, 2009 Police found the bodies Monday afternoon while checking on a home in Wilmette, 17 miles north of Chicago.

Police say a preliminary investigation suggests the woman and teenage boy were shot to death and the man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities have not released the names of those killed, pending notification of relatives.
