Four cars collided on City Avenue near Overbrook Avenue shortly before 10:00 pm.
Arriving officers determined that road conditions were unsafe resulting in them calling for a shut down until that side of the road could be treated.
At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital, that person's injury was not life threatening.
