DelCo. college student reported missing

SWARTHMORE, Pa. (AP) - March 5, 2009 School officials say 21-year-old Matthew Baldwin, of Little Rock, Ark., was last seen Sunday evening. They say family and friends have not heard from him since.

A campus-wide e-mail sent Wednesday by the dean of students says police in Swarthmore Borough, about 15 miles from Philadelphia, have opened a missing persons investigation.

Baldwin is described as a white male with shoulder-length brown hair, mustache and a fair complexion. Baldwin wears glasses and might also be wearing a dark green parka and black leather boots.

The school was first notified of his disappearance by a friend on Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the school's public safety department at 610-328-8333.
