Police search for bank robber

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Wachovia Bank branch located at 3400 Aramingo at approximately 4:00 p.m. Friday. The unidentified subject entered the branch at approximately 4:00 PM and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. The subject fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The subject is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's, average height and build, with a short dark mustache and goatee. The subject was wearing a light-colored heavy knit cap and a khaki or green collarless sweater or sweatshirt.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward available for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
