A Yorkshire terrier puppy valued at $1,600 has been returned to the Rehoboth Beach pet store it was stolen from on Thursday night. State police say the puppy was not injured and is in good health. Police did not reveal details of how it was returned but say video of the theft was helpful to investigators.

Chris Kiker, the owner of East Coast Exotics at the Rehoboth Mall, says three teenagers, a boy and two girls, were spotted on a surveillance video leaving with the puppy. The dog was in a pen at the front of the store.

Kiker says the dog was a special order for a customer and was implanted with a microchip.

In February, a Boston terrier valued at $1,100 was stolen from the store. That dog has not been recovered.
