Officer, children involved in accident

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - March 8, 2009 A Philadelphia Police officer and 7 young children were injured in this crash tonight in South Philadelphia.

Police say a car loaded with children heading to a friend's house crashed into a police cruiser at 18th and Christian Streets.

Eight people were transported to the hospital; they are all in good condition.
