March 10, 2009 9:58:37 AM PDT
Mayor Nutter has unveiled his plans for Philadelphia's second annual spring cleanup. It will be Saturday, April 4th.

The city's first spring cleanup last year was a sweeping success. 1,500 volunteers spanned the city, collecting more than two million pounds of trash.

Mayor Nutter's hoping residents will turn out in equal or greater numbers. He is also hoping that the cleanup effort continues throughout the year.
