Parents can now track students online

DOVER, Del. (AP) - March 10, 2009 Parents can log onto Home Access Center to access their children's daily schedule, attendance, grades and disciplinary problems.

Principal Gene Montano says it helps parents because high school students may not share what they should with their parents.

The program has been up and running for a little over a week and some students are a little concerned, but others it may serve as a motivational tool.

The district hopes to expand the program to other schools next year. They say several hundred parents have already logged on to use the program.
