Just before 11 on Tuesday night, flames broke out at the PSC Environmental Facility along Sandstone Drive in Hatfield Township.
When firefighters arrived they found flames and much of the building filled with thick clouds of smoke.
The fire quickly went to two alarms.
There are no reports of injuries.
The plant produces both hazardous and non-hazardous material.
