Del. teen charged with hate crime

DOVER, Del. (AP) - March 11, 2009 In January, a Dover man reported that someone spray painted a racial slur on the swing set in his yard on West Huntington Circle.

Police say a detective linked a 16-year-old who lives in the area to the crime. The teen was arrested Tuesday and charged with a hate crime, criminal mischief and criminal second-degree trespassing.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
