Corzine names new press secretary

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - March 12, 2009 Robert Corrales, who had been the Democratic governor's deputy press secretary since August, was named to the post Thursday. He succeeds Sean Darcy, who had held the post since June 2008.

Corrales previously served as assistant director of communications for the state Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and was public information officer at the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

He also served as a deputy press secretary in the governor's office from 2002-2004.
