The 15-year-old victim told police that she first noticed the man at Broad and Erie. So, he apparently followed the girl 4 1/2 blocks to the charter school. What happened next was captured on surveillance tape.
Cameras captured the man as he followed two female students into the school - stumbling up the entryway steps. Police say next, off the camera, he grabbed the 15-year-old girl and pinned her to a wall - then attempted to expose himself.
At that point a school dean noticed what was happening, approached the intruder and directed him out of the building. The man walked off and now police want to find him.
The suspect is described as 45 to 55-years-old, heavyset, dark complexion, light beard and grey balding hair. He was wearing a dirty white T-shirt, a black hooded jacket and light blue pants or jeans.
The suspect is wanted on an attempted rape charge. If you see him or might think you know who he is contact the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit.
