Atlantic City's city hall was evacuated Friday afternoon after dangerous fumes started filtering through the building.Rescuers were called to the building at around 2:30 p.m. after a number of employees reported feeling nauseous and overheated.

It was determined that workers doing interior work at the building used a chemical spray lubricant or solvent that got pulled into the HVAC system and ended up being dispersed throughout the building.

The building was evacuated, and eventually workers were sent home early.

10 employees were affected by the fumes, 8 of them treated and released and 2 were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

Everything is now back to normal inside the building.
