Suspect robs N. Phila. bank

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the United Bank of Philadelphia located at 1501 N. Broad Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The unidentified subject entered the branch at approximately 3:30 p.m. and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. The subject fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The subject is described as a black male in his 30's, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, thin build, with dark complexion, dark mustache and beard, black leather New York Yankees ball cap, dark blue jacket.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward available for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
