2 fires quickly extenguished in Coatesville

COATESVILLE - March 21, 2009 Just before midnight, a fire was reported in the rear of a house in the 600 hundred block Madison Avenue in /*Coatesville*/.

Reports indicate furniture was set on fire.

The fire was under control shortly after firefighters arrived.

At the same time, firefighters were dispatched to the 100 block of Hope Avenue for another fire.

Trash was set ablaze, reports indicate.

This was also quickly extinguished by firefighters.

The Chester County Fire Marshal was notified on these incidents.
