Police in Delaware arrested sisters who they say are responsible for a series of burglaries.

Rosemarie Singh, 39, and her sister Jennifer Colasanti, 33, are both locked up after failing to post bail.

Police say on Monday, March 23, officers were following leads after a series of break-ins in several Wilmington suburbs. Officers say they watched Singh and Colasanti leave their home and walk around the neighborhood.

The pair eventually went up to a home, knocked on the door and then Singh tried to break into a side window after nobody answered the door, according to police. Officers arrested the two in the act and found "burglar's tools" in their possession.

Fingerprints have linked them to at least 3 other burglaries in the area and they are suspected in at least 6 more.
