CENTER CITY - March 27, 2009
Authorities tell Action News that the accident happened just after 3 a.m. at the intersection of 24th and Locust in Center City Philadelphia.
The police cruiser hit several parked cars and then flipped onto its roof.
Medics say the officer suffered a leg injury and was taken to the hospital.
The investigation into just what caused the accident is in its early stages.
