DOVER, Del. (AP) - March 30, 2009
More than 900 cases of chlamydia have been reported to the
Division of Public Health so far this year, compared with about 700
during the same period last year.
Cathy Mosley, the administrator of the Division's sexually
transmitted disease program, says the increase reflects a
nationwide trend.
She says chlamydia infections have risen as incidents of other
sexually transmitted diseases decline.
