CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - March 30, 2009
Do-gooder college students have been spending a week trying to
help fix up the New Jersey city that often ranks as among the
nation's poorest and most dangerous.
One nonprofit group says it has hosted 200 students from 18
different colleges this spring.
The volunteers at Urban Promise have been helping maintain the
group's schools on the Camden-Pennsauken border.
