Hit writer Bob Gaudio honored at Nashville show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - March 30, 2009

Gaudio, a founding member of The Four Seasons and the writer of most of their hits, was honored in a brief ceremony Sunday night after a performance of the musical "Jersey Boys" at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The musical is about The Four Seasons and how the quartet started their career in New Jersey.

Nashville Mayor Karl Dean thanked Gaudio for making Nashville his home.

"Nashville rocks," said Gaudio, who has lived in Nashville 16 years. "It's the greatest music city."
