Eagles preseason schedule announced

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced their 2009 preseason schedule, which includes three games to be broadcast on 6abc.The birds will open at home versus New England on either August 13th or 14th, with a time to be announced. That game will be on the Eagles Television Network, and carried locally by 6abc.

That's followed up by a game at Indianapolis on Thursday, August 20th at 8:00 p.m. to be broadcast on Fox.

The next game is at home versus Jacksonville on Thursday, August 27th at 7:00 p.m. and will be televised by 6abc.

The preseason schedule for the Eagles wraps up Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 p.m. on the road versus the New York Jets. This game will also air on 6abc.

Under head coach Andy Reid, the Eagles are 15-25 in the preseason. The team was 2-2 in the 2008 preseason.

The Eagles made it to the NFC Championship Game following the 2008 season, but lost to the Arizona Cardinals 32-25. The Cardinals lost the Super Bowl to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 2009 regular season schedule should be released next month.
