Police: 9 and 10 year olds caught with pot

MANTUA - March 31, 2009 - The boys are students at Thomas Morton Elementary.

Investigators say it appears one student sold a small bag of marijuana to another student for two dollars, and gave away another.

In all, police confiscated 14 bags of pot.

"That's just shocking. I don't know how that happens, he's too young," said local parent Michelle Booker. "I'm just outraged that a baby would have that amount of weed."

Parents learned of the alleged drug dealing while picking their kids up from school.

Another student at the elementary school, Nijah Hill, says this isn't the first time she's seen drug dealing on school grounds.

"I think it's sad...I told them don't do it. They don't listen to me," Hill said.

The three boys were taken to Southwest Detectives.
