Easton shooting victim recently out of prison

EASTON, Pa. (AP) - April 1, 2009 Police are still looking for a masked, hooded gunman who walked into a bar in Easton on Monday night and fired several shots, killing 24-year-old Miguel Aponte.

Easton police Inspector Matthew Gerould says retaliation is one possible motive police are investigating.

Aponte was just released Dec. 31 after a prison term for the death of 23-year-old Jason Oliver of Easton. Oliver was shot nine times outside a strip club in nearby Wilson in January 2006.

Aponte was charged with homicide but pleaded to lesser charges.
