Middletown police say a man broke into a friend's home, then tied her up and threatened to shoot her. The woman told police that 40-year-old Mark Harris of Middletown broke into her home in the Middletown Village Apartments in the 400 block of North Ramunno Drive around 10 p.m. Monday.

She told police that Harris took her to a bedroom and tied her up with garbage bags. He indicated he had a gun and said he would shoot her if she moved.

Police say Harris rummaged through the apartment but took nothing.
