Arrest in Hunting Park teen shooting

A 17-year-old was arrested following the shooting of a 16-year-old near a school in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.However police say the teen, Anthony McDaniels, was not the gunman.

Whoever pulled the trigger remains at large.

McDaniels is charged as an adult with Attempted Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Aggravated Assault and related charges.

The 16-year-old victim, a 10th grade student at the CEP Hunting Park School, was shot as he was getting on a school bus Tuesday afternoon.

He was hit twice in the head, once in the chest and once in the back. He was last reported in critical condition.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an earlier fight.
