Spilled milk prompts assault

FAIRCHANCE, Pa. (AP) - April 2, 2009

State police say the girl faces aggravated assault and other charges in Fayette County Juvenile Court for the assault Tuesday at the Adelphi Village alternative school in Fairchance. That's about 45 miles south of Pittsburgh.

Police say the girl became enraged after spilling the milk and began screaming, swearing and running through the school. The principal, 39-year-old Tracy Kuchar, of Scottdale, chased the girl, who allegedly pushed the principal and tried to punch her in the face.

The principal wasn't injured. The girl is not being identified because she is a juvenile.
