"Kensington Kid" is a walk down memory lane. Author, Bill Mettinger writes about growing up in Kensington during the '70s.

Mettinger's book is about small town living, and how life was simple.

The book's focus is Kensington, but all Philadelphians will appreciate and read about familiar names and similar experiences while growing up during the 70s.

Mettinger's "Kensington Kid" will make you smile as you revisit pimple balls, halfsies, "Chucks", and selling pretzels, scrubbing steps, riding the el, and shopping on the Avenue.

If you grew up in Kensington during the 70s, Bill Mettinger has written this story for you. Enjoy!

He currently resides in Elkins Park with his wife and son.
