Let the police know next time

OSWEGO, N.Y. (AP) - April 2, 2009

While the robbery was fake, the cop and the gun were real.

Six students at Oswego State College in upstate New York were shooting a stick-up for a film project.

But they didn't let police know about it.

Sophomore Aaron Londraville was playing the bandit, dressed all in black with ski mask over his face.

Apparently, someone thought the flower shop robbery was real.

State troopers, sheriff's deputies and campus police rushed to the scene.

Londraville says it's a good thing he left his toy gun behind, when he walked outside in the face of a police shotgun.
