Mrs. Fixit: Squeeze Bottles

You're probably used to seeing these bottles on diner or restaurant tables but I can show you how to expand their value by using them all over the house.

Fill a squeeze bottle with your favorite cooking oil. Not only is the squeeze bottle easier to control than the typical wide mouth bottle, but the squeeze bottle won't drip and you'll use less oil which in the end is better for your health as well.

Fill a squeeze bottle with your favorite dessert sauce like chocolate, caramel or raspberry. You'll be able to decorate a dessert plate just like an upscale restaurant. You can even write names with the bottle to personalize a birthday plate.

An empty squeeze bottle is a cool tool for cleaning tight spaces like keyboards, and carvings, just squeeze the air and it will loosenn dirt and dust so you can clean it away.

Put some peroxide in a squeeze bottle for an easy way to treat a cut. The bottle gives a steady stream so you can see right where it's going and you won't make a mess.

Some easy ways to squeeze our solutions to some common household problems. I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple.
